- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I can't explain the one bad review that Dr Slack was given. But I can tell you that she saved my mother's life and gave her 10 more years she would not have had if Dr Slack hadn't caught her multiple myeloma so early. As a result of this extremely early diagnosis, my mother was able to get early intervention. Her oncologist said she lived longer with that disease than any other patient they'd ever had in their clinic. I believe she also saved my life when she noticed a lump on my neck during a physical, that I had not noticed. I had thyroid cancer. Once again, early intervention. She's very thorough, very friendly, is very intuitive and she listens to me, something many doctors do not do. I jokingly tell her never to move to another state, because then I'll have to move too.
