  I have been seeing Rachel for just over a year now and she is amazing! She is so patient and understanding every time I am with her. She is calm and is so good at helping me to feel comfortable to talk to her about even the most personal things in my life. I trust her and am so thankful for all of her good advice and techniques to help me solve life's problems. I live an hour away from her office and she is more then worth the drive to talk to her. I recently had a baby and its hard to know what my schedule is day to day, yet again Rachel is so patient with me and makes things so easy for me to schedule. She works with me in every way from the time I see her, the way I pay and how raw some of my emotions can be. I always look forward to my time with her and always feel better after our appointment.

  Almost as important as child-therapist relationship, is the parent-therapist relationship. I have worked with many therapists on this long road we have walked with my daughter's mental health issues. Rachel is by far the best we have seen. She connects with both my daughter and myself. She is easy to talk to, accessible, caring, and fun. Sometimes I just need a session with her myself to work things through out loud with some guidance. She always makes room in her schedule to see me and when I leave I always feel calmer and like my world makes a little more sense. She helps me feel like I am a capable parent and that I can help my daughter through these difficult times. I really respect the advice she gives me and it has helped me immensely to communicate better with my daughter and to come up with strategies to help her cope. I highly recommend Rachel. Especially for teenagers. She really has a way with them!
